A short story published in 1975. After a violent thunderstorm, a large man bursts into a cafe and kills a patron. A broken robot is later found; it is revealed that a lightning strike at the factory reversed the robot's Asimov circuit, inverting the Three Laws of Robotics. The story mixes black humor and mystery.
A short story by Sakyo Komatsu, recorded as the winning work in the Japanese short story category of the 1976 Seiun Award.
