1988年栃木県生まれ、東京都在住。大正大学文学部、東京ビジュアルアーツ映画学校卒業。 脚本の新人賞などへの応募を重ねたのち、数年ぶりに書いた小説「初恋は坂道の先へ」で第1回ダ・ヴィンチ「本の物語」大賞の大賞を受賞。本作がデビュー作となる。

第1回ダ・ヴィンチ「本の物語」大賞受賞作
ダヴィンチ文学賞を引き継いで、本の雑誌らしく「本」をテーマに据えて新装した賞の第1回受賞作です。 彼女が消えた。一冊の本とともに。 こんな書き出しで始まる、俺（芹澤）の一人称パートと 「未来坂」をのぼるあたし（しなこ）の一人称パートがそれぞれの章立てになって交互に語られます。 俺の彼女「品子」と「しなこ」は同一人物なのか、彼女に届いた本はだれが何のために贈ったのか、、、 そんなミステリ仕立てなお話です。 正直、帯に書かれている「後半の仕掛けにうなること間違いなし！」という煽り文句は重すぎます。 カットバック形式のためリーダビリティはありますが、ミステリとして期待しすぎると肩すかしに感じるかもしれません。 品子との出会いのエピソードは読めば一瞬でわかりそうなことを、主人公の記憶に残っていないという事実だけで ずいぶん引っ張った感じがしました。 ミステリととらえるよりは、本をテーマにした、純粋な青春小説（ミステリ風味）として読んだ方が最後まで楽しめるでしょう。 俺の、家族との会話。しなこの過去の真相など、本筋と直接関係ない部分での表現や会話がなかなかに味わい深く 惹きこまれました。読後感もよく、すがすがしい後味です。
