可もなく不可もなく
まったく引っかかること無くすらすら読み進められるので電車の中で時間をつぶすのには便利。 しかしひたすら冗談めかした文体でぶちこまれるギャグと 作品の中心のはずなのに凡庸で雑なサンタの描写（体を鍛えるだけ）には何も感じない。 主人公が中年なのはラノベらしくないが、ヒロインのつくりかたは単純なラノベ。 トラウマを巡るドラマも良くも悪くもコンパクトにまとまっている。 別に悪いと思うところもないがこれといって読後に残るものもない。 MW的立ち位置の富士見L文庫の大賞作品ということで期待して買ったが ラノベにしては地味で一般文芸にしてはスカスカなだけだった。
