高見山は自宅の庭から仰ぐ、1249米の伊勢との国境に聳える山で、冬は樹氷の姿が美しい。頂上には水を司る瀬織津比売を祀る。そこより滲み出る溪が庭先に来て鮎返しの滝となっている。句集名とした由縁である。
昭和3年、兵庫県生。昭和54年、右城暮石に師事、「運河」入会。同57年、「運河」同人。平成3年、「晨」同人参加。同15年、句集『深吉野』で第43回俳人協会賞受賞。句集『耳石』『夢の淵』。「運河」天水集同人、俳人協会評議員、大阪俳人クラブ理事。
