昭和６年、京都生。秋元不死男・山口誓子に師事。句集『明眸』『オペ記』『幡』『焦螟』『稗史』等、共著『新しい素材と発想』等。俳人協会新人賞、宇治市紫式部市民文化賞など受賞。「幡」主宰。日本文藝家協会会員・俳人協会副会長。朝日新聞京都俳壇選者。
