風景
Fukei is an autobiographical short-story collection by Jakucho Setouchi, based on her memories and life. Stories such as one in which an old destructive love resurfaces after an award, and another about the emotional unrest before taking Buddhist vows, quietly examine age, memory, and traces of love.

Published by Kadokawa Gakugei in 2011, Fukei won the Izumi Kyoka Literary Prize. As Setouchi's first new fiction after Hika, it gathers stories grounded in her own experience and memory. A Kadokawa Bunko edition followed in 2016.

瀬戸内寂聴さんの辿った人生模様を拝見させていただきました。四国八十ハヶ所巡礼の旅のご縁をいただけたらと思いました。

尽きることのない創作への情熱
２００９年から２０１０年の発表とクレジットされているので最近の作品です。短編のコレクションです。自分の人生を回顧したものから自伝的な色彩の創作、そして全くの創作まで様々な作品が収められています。中には若い男性や女性を主人公にしたものまで含まれており、尽きることのない著者の創作欲が伺えます。創作作品はどれもそれなりのユニークな視点からの起承転結をもち、落ちが用意されています。ただ創作の場合はどれも作品を貫く緊張感が欠落しているようです。そういう意味では、何十年にもわたるある知人との関係を整理した「絆」が光を放っています。これはファン向けの作品です。
