母親の家出
突然、家出した母親。 逃げ出したくなることってあるし、この母親の気持ちも分からないでもないけど、正直自己中だと思う。 過去の出来事には同情するけど。 お話としては読みやすい。

待望の２作目！！
この作者の作品、楽しみに待ってました。 前作の「三人だけの山村留学」も良かったので、ぜひ、次回作が読みたいと思ってました。 今回の作品も、興味深く、あっと言う間に読み進みました。 家出したお母さんの、過去の悲しみ、苦しみ・・・涙なしでは、読むことができませんでした。 母親が、塾や習い事の送り迎えをしてくれるのが、当たり前だと思っていた子供たち、家にいるのが、当たり前だと思っていた子供たち。 でも、お母さんが家出をしたことで、母親の存在を再認識できるような気がします。 子供だけでなく、小・中学生の母親、父親にもぜひ、読んで欲しいと思いました。 母親が家出をした先の尾道は、とても素敵な場所なので、読んでいると尾道に行きたくなります。
