新人による丁寧な良作
本書は、真珠湾攻撃において史実では行われなかった三次攻撃が行われるというIFを描いた仮想戦記です。 奇抜な新兵器も、切れ者の架空のキャラクターも出てこない代わりに、史実と違った決断に至った第一航空艦隊司令部とその幕僚達の心情、実際の攻撃とその戦果、米側の反応と反撃、そして作戦全体に対する連合艦隊司令部の評価とその後の戦局に及ぼすであろう影響などが丁寧に描かれています。 最近では奇抜な設定の仮想戦記が多いだけに、史実の日米戦を正面から扱い、丁寧な描写で今後に期待を持たせてくれる本作は非常に続きが楽しみです。 是非、終戦までこの調子で書ききってもらいたいと願っております。
