登場人物に魅力を感じない
設定は魅力的だった。文章がまだ手についていない印象を受けたが、それでも文字を通して頭に浮かんだ映像には魅力があった。 大きな争いごとに主人公は気づけば巻き込まれていて、好きだった妹を救うためにその戦いに積極的に関わっていくという 話の流れも、既視感がある展開ではあるが、それでも一定の面白さはあった。 けどキャラクターが駄目。登場人物の思考がよく分からない。 なんでこの状況でそんな思考になるんだ？ という違和感が読んでいて何度もあった。 というか冲方さんの帯のコメント、よく見たらほとんど誉めてない。 「今作をきっかけに、作者の成長の扉が開かれまくるに違いない」 って、これからもっと頑張りましょうということではないか…… ライトノベルとしてもSFとしても中途半端でした。
