キョンシーブームに育った私はキョンシーという単語でひかれて購入しました。 新作かと思えば、実は７年前の作家さんのデビュー作だったようです。 面白さでいえば、まあまあ。 一応貴族のお嬢様の芳玉が主人公。ある日キョンシーになってしまい、それを治すために美形の道士と事件を解決するというもの。 仕掛けとかは面白く、もっと掘り下げれば、ガチなモステリー要素のあるチャイニーズファンタジーにできた気もしなくはないです。 しかし、主人公の一人称視点で話が進むので、基本的には美形やら恋にドキドキするティーンズ小説という感じです。 もともとコバルトで発売ですから、そういうジャンルでの戦略が正しいのかもしれません。 今だと、ビーンズとかビーズログあたりに見る、なんとなく中華ぽいファンタジーのジャンルです。 アイデアとか悪くはないのですが、良作になるには届かないという感じでしょうか。
