阿部昭のファンは全集そろえているマニアも多い。文庫は少ないが、これは内容と表紙が優れたハーモニー。 子供に的を絞った良作品が収められている。 大江健三郎ぎらいの人は、東大同期くらいの作家となる阿部に向かうかも。
