骨のある想像力
平出隆には、外見上、短歌や紀行文や日記など身辺に取材した、詩ではないようにに見える作品群があり、本書も一見すると伝記のよう。でも中味は、その企図、形式、発想、展開など散文詩そのものだ。現在の日本で唯一骨のある想像力の翼をのばすことのできる平出隆。彼と同時代に生まれて心底良かった。初期の詩集らしい詩集も、新しい日本語的想像力を探求して若々しくて良いが、最近の平出隆もその延長線上でほんとに良い仕事をしてる。平出隆をそばにおくと、そのへんの３００人くらいの現代日本詩人は顔色なしだ。
