鯨と戦う海の人々を描いた文学作品、日本版”白鯨”、これを読むと日本人と鯨の歴史がよくわかる。戦後の一時期まで、鯨は、日本人にとって身近な存在であった。もちろん食料として、大江健三郎級の芥川賞作家宇能鴻一郎の文章、天才だ。
