武田百合子 一九二五(大正一四)年、神奈川県横浜市生まれ。旧制高女卒業。五一年、作家の武田泰淳と結婚。取材旅行の運転や口述筆記など、夫の仕事を助けた。七七年、夫の没後に発表した『富士日記』により、田村俊子賞を、七九年、『犬が星見た――ロシア旅行』で、読売文学賞を受賞。他の作品に、『ことばの食卓』『遊覧日記』『日日雑記』『あの頃――単行本未収録エッセイ集』がある。九三(平成五)年死去。

ほのぼのとした日常
昭和30年代から40年代にかけての日常生活が、飾り気の無い生き生きとした文章で書かれていて楽しい。作家であるご主人はあまり身体を動かさず、奥さんはよく働くよく動く。昭和の主婦は文句も言わず、よく働くものですね。夜寝る前にお勧めの一冊です。

本当にただの日記なので期待しすぎない方がいいけど、ある意味で貴重な読書体験かも

「「クソババア」「クソは誰でもすらあ」」
（上中下巻通してのレビューです） 『犬が星見た』を読んで武田百合子さんのファンになりました。独特の観察眼、独特の表現。歯切れのよさ。毎日の朝昼晩の献立や買い物の値段が几帳面に記してあり、興味深くついつい物を思い浮かべながら読んでしまいます。あとは百合子さんのワイルドさ（暴走）にハラハラしたり、共感したり。
