自分好みの予感
15年以上前の本だけど、なぜかこの人の本がAmazonのリコメンドに出てくるので、読んでみた。 内容的には、日本の調査捕鯨船に捕鯨反対派が絡んで行くという、最近もあったような話で、楽しめそうだったんだけど、何か中途半端。別に著者が書きたかったのはその二者の対立ではなく（ちょこっとアニマル・ライツの話も出てきたけど）、単にメルヴィルの『白鯨』を題材にしたメタフィクションを書きたかったということか。 でも、自分好みの作者の予感はする。
