若き魂の彷徨
作者を知ったのは、小林紀晴が海外で知り合った旅人として「アジアン・ジャパニーズ」にて紹介していたこと。 その彼が文學界新人賞を受賞したのがこの作品だ。 博之と幸太郎は、福島出身の遠い親戚同士で、共に海外を流浪。 やがて日本に戻るも、共生しながら自堕落な生活を続ける。 次第に一人はカメラマン、一人はＤＪに職を見つけ、 落ち着いていくかにも思われたが、型にはまった生活などできる性分でもない二人。 その運命は暗転する。。 海外放浪、写真、ＤＪ。二人とも、作者自身が投影された分身なのだろう。 ベースは、二人の若者の魂の彷徨の物語なのだが、 作者の経歴にふさわしく、サイケデリックな臭いがプンプンの文章で、 時折意味をつかむのに苦労する所も。
