絵と色づかいが好きです。ぬりえも買ってみたのですが細かすぎて私には無理。でも大好きです♪

絵が綺麗でお話の内容も道徳の学びのようで良かったです。近くの小中学校の生徒さん達にも読んで欲しくて何冊か寄贈しました。

Generic, boring and clichéd story with amazing artwork
The “celebrity” guy who “wrote” this is apparently the topic of some controversy regarding this book that I was not aware of. Now I couldn’t care less about celebrities in general and Japanese ones in particular, but I can sorta see where this one’s coming from, as I found the story super generic, uninspired and unoriginal. Might be a tear-jerker for a junior high school student, I’ll give it that. But the artwork is amazing and you can lose yourself in the *atmosphere* of the story for hours. But the story itself is absolutely forgettable.
