ピンとこないのが辛い
スパイをテーマとした評論集。 著者は、日本のスパイミステリの第一人者だそうだ。幾つか著者の作品を読み終えていれば、著者の主張に首肯したり、反発を覚えたり、感慨を深めることができるのだろうが、残念ながら目が滑って時間ばかりかかってしまった。 1960年代から1970年代の論考なので、当時の国際政治にまで理解が及ばず、そのさらに裏側が論じられても、ピンとこないのが辛いところ。スパイ・ミステリィというジャンルは、その時々の社会情勢に即していればいるほど、著しく鮮度が落ちてしまうのだろう。
