下巻はいつ出るのですか？
小島烏水は日本の近代登山の先駆者であり、数々のすぐれた登山紀行文を残した。また、美術にも造詣が深く、版画等のコレクターとしても名が知られている。木村大作監督の映画「剱岳・点の記」では、仲村トオルがこの小島烏水を演じて、颯爽たる姿を見せてくれた。そういうきわめて興味深い人物・小島烏水の本格的な評伝。近藤信行氏の緻密な筆は、烏水像を丁寧に描いて行く。で、じゅうぶんに楽しませてもらったのですが、この本まだ上巻ですよね。平凡社さん、下巻をはやく刊行してください。毎月、平凡社ライブラリーの新刊予告見ながら、今月もまだ出ないとがっかりするばかりで、もう、１年半過ぎました。
