とても感動した。青春時代の気持ちを思い出す。
なだいなだ氏が選者の児童文学賞大賞受賞作品。青春の甘酸っぱい気持ちを思い出させる名作。読後感がとても良い。感動した。

ひとつひとつのエピソードが散漫で、恋愛描写、スポーツを通した青春、故郷への思いなど、どれもきちんと描かれていませんでした。文章力も、あまり……。主人公が異性を意識する瞬間も、リアルではあるけど、女性が読むと気持ち悪いな、という感想しか残りませんでした。 主人公や文体の設定は、小５辺りが適切、といった幼さです。
