「５７３」、凄いかも！！
まずは句集の構成が凄い。一集が壮大な連作（物語？）になっていて、英詩人・PBシェリーの長詩を俳句で追っていく、というアイデア。 目次より ①「妖精女王マブに夢想の世へ連れ去られる」 （死んでいく感じ、鷺とか、いろんな鳥の句がある） ②「妖精女王マブの洞窟から苦難多き人界を眺める」 （苦しんでいる人間たちをビビッドに描く、日本社会の風刺、そしてウクライナの句が圧巻） ③「妖精女王マブの眼で再びこの世に生まれる」 （世界中で作った平明な句が多い、ことに男から見た赤子の句が感動的） そして... ④「五七三（無垢句）」（アイヌ文化が大きなテーマだが、５０句ぐらい、いわゆる新しい定型の「無垢句」、眼から鱗が落ちる思いがした！） マブソンさんは、前のマルキーズ諸島の句集も大へん自由でしたが、また一層自在になったように感じました。 とにかく、「五七三」の句のかたち、これは面白い！読んでみると初めての感覚が味わえます。自由律の韻律を少し思い出すが、それとはまた違います。斬新な余韻が伝わります。 なんだか、アイヌ文様とか、縄文の螺旋模様のような、シンプルだけど壮大な世界、そんな時間意識が５７３なのか... やっぱり、これは「アニミズムのリズム」なのか、と思わせる。
