愛読書
繰り返し繰り返し開きました。この1冊で、蜂飼耳の虜になりました。ほとんど1か月間バッグの中にこの本は棲み続け、帰宅後はテーブルの上に。何しろ姿が良い。帯もなく、暗い赤に黒い押し文字。詩集はそういうものが良い。その表紙を開くと同時に吐き出されるあまたの言葉に、しばし呆然。先ずは先入観なしで読むべし。感じるべし。

蜂飼さんは、まだ40代なのに、詩人として、すでに日本でトップクラスの実績をお持ちです。また、絵本のためにお書きになっている文章も素晴らしいです。

神話的な世界
何度も繰り返し味わいたい詩集です。 神話的な世界、対称性というキーワードから考えると、彼女の作品はまさに今、読みたい詩ナンバーワンです。 特に「シベリアルート」のなかの、生き物がのみこまれ、屍体が投げ入れられる氷河のイメージに心つかまれました。それは死の場所であり、やがては生の場所であり、そしてそこがまさに詩の生まれる場所なのでしょう。 装丁も凝っていて（真っ赤なカバーをはずすと、普通あるはずの表紙がありません）素敵です。
