言葉の使用目的
絵文字とかスタンプとかも含めて、言葉は伝達の手段として使われる。 ただ、詩の言葉はそれ以外の使用目的がある。 物の気配や色、においなどを書き留めておくためにも、言葉は重宝する。 ただし、それは他人にうまく伝えることを第一目的とはしないため、 感傷や情緒など、書き手が必ずしも表現したいと思わない、 ふにゃふにゃしたものだけが、不用意に読み手に伝わってしまい、 書き留められた硬質な気配などが、読み手にはわからないことがある。 それはやむを得ないことであり、読み巧者にしか伝わらない。 「それでいい」と思って書いたものがこの「花眼」ではないか。 そう考えると、多分これは日本語で書かれた詩の中でも、極めて優れた作品だろう。
