日のあたり時と所に みえているこの光景が これと逐一同じべつのものだとしても だれがちがいをかたりうるだろう 「現代詩手帖」に「写生の試み」として連載された作品を中心に、見えるものをとおして見えるものの具現を試みる。そのためには「見えないところを遠まわりしてこなければならない」(『雲の行方』)という。前詩集『明示と暗示』から7年、さらなる追求の先に見えてくるもの。
1957年、東京都江戸川区生まれ。 20代終わりから詩作と投稿を始め、1990年、「詩学」新人。第1詩集『ここからここへ』(94年、編集工房ノア)以降、『リアル日和』(96年)、『空気集め』(97年、第48回H氏賞)、『昼のふくらみ』(99年)、『石はどこから人であるか』(2001年、以上4冊、思潮社)、詩画集『石のこの世』(02年、銅版画・木村茂、喜多ギャラリー)。近年は、知覚体験を記述する「明示法」を試みた詩集『明示と暗示』(10年)とともに、この記述法を実作の場から考察した文集『雲の行方』(14年、ともに思潮社)を刊行、写生の可能性を追究している。
