自分に対する自信と作品に対する自信
形式主義者が見たとたんに「ふざけるな！」と叫びそうな句が並ぶ。 自分と自分の作品に対する作者の自信はすさまじい。この作品集にある句と、ただふざけている駄作の違いを、どう説明するか、聞いてみたいものだ（自分で考えろという答が返ってくるだろうが）。たとえば「てのひらは元あしのうら山笑う」。この句の良さはどこにあるのだろう。感覚的にはわかっても言語化するのは至難の技だ。 書名からも想像できるとおり、一見のんびり、ゆるゆると詠んでいるが、実は、作者は、かなり挑戦的な人格ではないかと、そんなことを考えつつ、読んでしまう作品集。

すっきりする、そんな句ばかりです。２０代の私からみて、古くさかったり、がちがちだったり、飛躍が受け取れなかったりする俳句が多い中で、この句集はもう腑に落ちる句ばかり。 買って損なしでした。
