詩人。熊本県八代市生まれ。2007年に『ヒムル、割れた野原』（思潮社、2006年）で第57回H氏賞を受賞。その他の詩集に『明るい日』（思潮 社、2013年）、『クワカ ケルル』（思潮社、2018年）などがある。

詩集を読むことは
収められているどの詩もよかった。幻視を裏打ちする現実感、思念があって、読み応えがある。 たとえば、「だから 汚泥のなかに落ちたときには/よろこびなさい」（「球根」という詩の最終連）のフレーズを読んだときの新鮮な驚き。詩を読むというのは自分をひらかせてもらうことだと強く感じた。
