A comedic light novel about high school student Shinjaburou Hanamaru and the beautiful vampire girl Jil. Jil, pursued by vampire hunters, moves in with Shinjaburou, who insists on one rule: "Don't suck my blood." The series follows their slapstick daily life and conflicts with hunters.
