Trivia
- Since 1998 he has maintained a self-imposed project of taking a photograph every day (the "daily photographs").
- In 2006 he received the 31st Kimura Ihei Award for the photobook 'In My Room' (some sources list it as fiscal 2005).
- In 2014 some works in an exhibition at Aichi Prefectural Museum were judged obscene by the prefectural police, prompting the museum to take measures.
- In 2018 he participated in FANZA's group exhibition project 'Find Your Fantasy'.
