A Tokiwazu piece often performed in geisha-themed repertory; one of her representative dances.
Kichiyo Saruwaka, of a branch of the Saruwaka school, was highly regarded for her stylish performances—especially geisha-themed dances. Through multiple national honors she became an important figure in postwar Japanese dance.
