2012 Mystery novel

At private Yamase Academy high school, an oil painting depicting the brutal murder of a teacher (called a "murder painting") appears in a corridor. The principal tasks the school nurse Haruka Mogi and art teacher Takumi Shiina with finding the culprit. Their secret investigation leads the case to an unexpected course — a school-based mystery.
