Legacy

Since his debut in 1977, Yoshio Takahashi has been known for period and historical novels as well as works on regional life. He won the Naoki Sanjugo Prize in 1992. Since 1997 he has contributed to local literary culture by running novelist/writer courses in Yamagata.
