Legacy

As founder of Shufu no Tomo Company (now Shufu no Tomo Co.), he significantly shaped the development of women's magazines in Japan. He established the Ishikawa Cultural Enterprise Foundation and opened a library, and received the Kikuchi Kan Prize in 1958.
