Legacy

Takemoto Mikio is recognized as a leading scholar of Noh, whose source-based research and annotations have advanced contemporary Noh studies. As director of the Tsubouchi Memorial Theatre Museum he contributed to preservation and public dissemination of materials, and as emeritus professor he trained subsequent generations.
