A former professional footballer from Shizuoka Prefecture. After debuting with Urawa Red Diamonds, he played for several clubs and appeared in around 80 matches across professional and regional leagues. His later career included controversy after being dismissed for drunk driving, but he is known for his local club activity and the nickname "Kani".

Trivia

  • Nickname: "Kani" (Crab). The name comes from a misunderstanding of his zodiac and star sign when he was a rookie.
  • In 2010 he was dismissed from Fujieda MYFC after being found driving under the influence.
