Second-year middle-school student Momoka is unsettled by her relationships with a friend who has awakened to romance, her non-biological father, and a mother who seems to love someone else. While she is drawn to her classmate Sayo, her childhood friend Yuki reacts with unease. Interwoven with the story of Osaki, a home-economics teacher, this ensemble novel portrays the layered feelings and growth of its girls.
