Cat Dialogue is a poetry collection gathering poems Choe Hwa-guk had written in Japanese. Through addresses to cats, family members, poets, and people of different nationalities and cultures, it weaves together the perspective of a Korean resident in Japan and a poetics grounded in dialogue.

A poetic voice that speaks across nationality and species turns this collection into an open, lively space for dialogue.
