Description
Launched the year after the establishment of the Asahi Haiku Newcomer Award, this award targets unpublished works of 30 haiku from those aged 51 and above as entries for selection, and was published in the monthly magazine 'Haiku Asahi.' It was suspended after the 9th edition due to the magazine's hiatus with the June 2007 issue.
