Description

Established in 2011, it aims to arouse interest in medicine and medical systems, build trust between the public and medical professionals, and promote Japan's print culture. It targets works published as books from January 1 to December 31 each year, holds a selection meeting in March of the following year, awards winners a certificate and a prize of 1 million yen, and announces in the June issue of 'Shosetsu Shincho'. Suspended after the 5th edition.
