Kobunsha's open call project for discovering new full-length novel talent. Effectively suspended after the 2007 recruitment, and from 2014, launched Kappa・Two as the successor project targeting honkaku mysteries.

Description

KAPPA-ONE Ryuryumon is Kobunsha's open newcomer award for full-length novels regardless of genre. Entries equivalent to 200-1,000 sheets of 400-character manuscript paper are solicited with deadlines at the end of June and December each year, and winning works are published by Kobunsha Kappa Novels. It was effectively suspended after 2007, and from 2014, the successor project Kappa・Two targeting honkaku mysteries was started.
