Description
Launched in conjunction with the establishment of the light novel label 'Kodansha Ranobe Bunko' in autumn 2011, it was created in October 2010. The 1st round had 1,109 submissions with 5 winning works. From the 2nd round, solicited once a year with deadline on April 30; from the 10th round, integrated with Kodansha Ranobe Challenge Cup and solicited twice a year. Evaluation sheets sent to primary selection passers, secondary selection passers invited to editorial department with emphasis on collaboration potential with editors. Award-winning works are published by Kodansha Ranobe Bunko.
