Description

The Muku Hatoju Children's Literature Award is a literary prize that honors children's literature works, established in 1991 by Kagoshima City to commemorate the 100th anniversary of its city status and to praise the achievements of children's author Muku Hatoju. It targeted debut books by newcomers and later expanded to include up to the second work. It ended with the 24th edition (2014).
