Description

The Niimi Nankichi Children's Literature Award was established in 1982 and awarded annually from the following year, 1983, to Japanese children's literature works. It was operated by the Niimi Nankichi Association (formerly Niimi Nankichi Copyright Management Committee), sponsored by Handa City, Aichi Prefecture, targeting new works first published the previous year. It ended with the 28th edition in 2010.
