Description
Established in 1999 to commemorate the poetic achievements of Tozaburo Ono, who served as principal of Osaka Literature School, with the aim of encouraging creative writers of poetry and poetry criticism. Sponsored by the General Incorporated Association Osaka Literature Association <Ono Tozaburo Award Executive Committee>, co-sponsored by Asahi Shimbun. From the 21st edition in 2019, selections are made in two categories: poetry collections and poetry criticism books.
