Description
Originally established in 1994 as the Urawa Sports Literature Award and held up to the 4th edition, then renamed to "Saitama City Sports Literature Award" following the merger of Urawa City with Omiya City and Yono City. Aimed at developing the genre of sports literature, sponsored by Saitama City and Saitama City Board of Education, supported by the Agency for Cultural Affairs, Saitama Prefecture, and Saitama Prefecture Board of Education, implemented with cooperation from the Saitama Literary Artists Association. The collection of award-winning works "SPORTS STORIES" is published each time.
