Description

The Shogakukan Nonfiction Grand Prize was established in 1993 as an open submission literary award targeting unpublished nonfiction manuscripts. The submission deadline is the end of August. Judging consists of primary screening by Shogakukan employees and final review by external judges, with the winning work published by Shogakukan as a single-volume book. As of 2021, the prize money is 3 million yen.
