Description
The Sogen Mystery Criticism Award (Sōgen Suiri Hyōronshō) was a public recruitment newcomer literary award sponsored by Tokyo Sogen Sha, targeting criticism and research in the mystery genre. Established in 1994, it solicited essays from 30 to 100 manuscript sheets and was suspended after the 10th edition. Winning works and judge's critiques were published in the magazines "Sogen Suiri," "Sogen Suiri 21," and "Misteries!". The required length was 30 to 100 manuscript sheets, and the prize money was 300,000 yen.
