Description

Began in 1994 as the "Sogen Suiri Short Story Prize," renamed in 2004 to "Mysteries! Short Story Prize," in 2005 to "Mysteries! Newcomer Prize," and renamed to "Sogen Mystery Short Story Prize" starting in 2023. Award-winning works are published in the magazines "Sogen Suiri," "Sogen Suiri 21," "Mysteries!," and "Kamiuo no Techō."
