    芥川賞候補作。在日の青年が韓国へ渡る話。題名はオートバイで、しかし関釜連絡船にバイクが載せられなかったので、バイクは回想場面にしか出てこない。船中で中村佳子という、韓国人と結婚するつもりだったのが相手の親の反対でダメになり傷心のうちに韓国旅行する女と出会い、この女とあれこれ在日の立場について話す。それなりに美人らしくもあるし、主人公けっこうイケメンなのかと思うがまあ都合のいい設定である。バイクの描写もキザ。
