Nureta Kokoro is Takigawa Kyō's mystery novel, published by Kodansha in 1958 and winner of the fourth Edogawa Rampo Prize. Centered on the relationship between Noriko and Juri, it depicts a murder unfolding amid love and social constraint. In 1997 it was collected in Kodansha Bunko with Ikyo no Ho, a novel set in late-Edo Nagasaki and Dejima, as Nureta Kokoro / Ikyo no Ho.

東大経済学部卒。終戦後、横浜正金銀行をへて毎日新聞西部本社に勤務。昭和28年（53）、『みかん山』で作家デビュー。33年『濡れた心』で第4回江戸川乱歩賞を、翌年には短編集『落ちる』で第40回直木賞を受賞した。以後、推理作家として活躍すると同時に時代小説も旺盛に執筆。ベッド・ディテクティブものや『ゆっくり雨太郎捕物控』シリーズなど話題作も多い。平成6年（94）脳梗塞により没。
