印象に残った。

・とても印象に残っている小説。3回ぐらい読んだ。・90年代のインターネットに関する用語が頻出するけど、この本のテーマはそこじゃないと思う。当時のインターネット黎明期の雰囲気も良く出ていて、好きだけど。・この本で書かれているテーマは普遍的なものだと思う。発売当時から20年くらいたっているが、全く色褪せていない。この本を読むまではそのテーマみたいなことは考えたことがなくて、心に残った。・ここに書かれた感想から見えてくる自分と、実際にいる自分、どちらが本当なのか。・作者の涼元さんには、ゲームでなくてもよいから、こういう小説をまた書いてほしい。・ほぼ日刊イトイ新聞の「担当編集者は知っている。」、この本に関するとてもよい話と思います。 […]
「青猫の街」感想

作者の涼元氏は現在はKEYのゲーム「AIR」「CLANNAD」のシナリオライターとして有名。デビューはコバルト文庫。「青猫の街」は涼元氏のファンは必読。純粋な「小説の愉しみ方」からは外れると思うけど、現在の彼の作品を念頭において読み進むとそれなりにおもしろく読めるはず。そうでない人にはとくにおすすめしません。作品単体での評価は、これからおもしろくなりそうなところで唐突に終わっている惜しい作品。ファンタジーノベル大賞への応募作品ということでいろんな意味でセーブがかかっている気がします。そこらも含めておもしろがれる方ならどうぞ。
